To determine standings, STAR VS STAR uses head-to-head weekly matchups and point-style scoring.  Based on the points accumulated by your team versus the points accumulated by your opponent’s team, your team wins or loses its weekly matchup.  Your team’s win-loss record then determines your place in the standings as well as whether or not you advance to the playoffs and ultimately win your league!

During Weeks 1 through 7 of the 9-week Contest, your team will play against the other teams in your league.  Based on the points accumulated by your team versus the points accumulated by your opponent’s team, your team wins or loses its weekly matchup.  Your team’s accumulated win-loss record then determines your place in the league standings.  Based on league standings after Week 7, the top 4 teams in your league make the playoffs.  Playoff matchups are Week 8, and the Championship Game for your league is Week 9.
